Intro
Sharing a case again. I don’t know whether any of you have used iOS’s built-in Mail app — using it to aggregate Gmail/Outlook and the like works really well. So is there an equivalent on Android? Before this, maybe not, because my phone had Gmail, Outlook, Proton and a whole pile of other clients at once, and managing them was miserable. Later I tried things like Spark, but it always felt a bit lacking (because you have to pay). So is there an aggregator client that can stand up to iOS’s built-in Mail app? Yes, brothers, there is, and it is:
Samsung Mail
Samsung Mail
Samsung’s system apps — anyone who’s used Samsung Internet probably already knows how good OneUI’s system apps are. Even though it’s branded Samsung, it also works on other Android phones; the only exception is Proton, which can’t be added because of its own end-to-end encryption. In my testing Gmail and Outlook are both fine. The whole app is very clean, zero ads, no premium tier or anything — the only one I’ve tried that can go toe to toe with iOS Mail

So here’s the question: the Gmail and Outlook clients can add other mailboxes too. True, but in my testing, Gmail errors out when adding Outlook, and Outlook errors out when adding Gmail. Very weird, bro; I switched accounts several times and the problem persists. Really out of options
As for Chinese email providers, there doesn’t seem to be a good way; you can only use their own clients, and third-party ones get killed off by them from time to time
