Pretty absurd — before this I’d never considered that root was the problem
First, I configured the mipush service correctly, QQ registered normally, and I used a device-model module to disguise QQ as a Xiaomi device. Push worked at first, then it suddenly stopped; deleting the mipush config file in /data/data QQ and re-registering didn’t help either
This afternoon I happened to open momo and only then discovered that my shamiko had been turned off, with a big 「已发现 su」 slapped right in my face. After turning shamiko back on and rebooting, QQ’s mipush push worked again. Too mysterious — I wonder if anyone has run into the same situation
Why do I say only QQ detects root and stops pushing? Because apps like Xianyu can push normally, and I didn’t even fake a Xiaomi model for them. QQ’s detection really is…
